  • Conference Planning Manager

    BASIC FUNCTION: Plans, coordinates and ensures execution of all Conference group related activities and events. The Planning Manager will act as the primary liaison between the client and the staff of the property while focusing on the client’s expectations.     Position Overview

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    ·Proactively source and secure new social and small group business through networking, local outreach, prospecting, and partnerships with venues, event planners, and community organizations.

    · Manage all aspects of social and small group sales, from inquiry through execution, including contracting, detailing, and on-site servicing.

In offering a warm welcome to our hotel/resort, the Valet Parking Attendant assists with the opening of car doors as they arrive to the hotel/resort and unloading of guest’s luggage as needed.     Your Role

    • Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience

    • Interacts with all guests. The Valet Parking Attendant will welcome each guest to our hotel.
    • If guests are arriving by motor vehicle, you will open their door as you welcome them to the resort/hotel
    • You will park and retrieve guests’ cars as needed
    • You will assist guests in securing other forms of transportation as needed

    Qualifications

    • At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction
    • Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
    • Valid Drivers License with no infractions for at least 6 months
    • Ability to solve problems when they arise.
    • Ability to work in a team environment is a must.

    Your role

    • Greeting clients as they enter the Spa
    • Providing clients with tours and information related to the Facility and its features.

    • Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.

    Your Role

    • To answer incoming calls within 3 rings and to direct calls throughout the resort providing courteous guest service, using guest name and responding promptly to guest questions, complaints or requests.
    • To dispatch all guest calls through radios or devices to the appropriate departments
    • Become fully familiar with the resort's outlets and services available to the guests and be able to provide accurate information on guest services at all times.
    • To obtain updated information daily on resort events and be able to accurately answer inquiries about these events.
    • Understand how to operate accurately the resort telephone system SMS system to provide maximum courteous and efficient telephone service to all customers.
    • To log and clear all guest calls into the HOT SOS system. Call back system to clear all calls (using guest name)
    • To follow up with all guest calls and complaints (using guests name)
    • Be able to perform concierge duties including restaurant reservations, resort activities, off property attractions
    • To Log and store all guest packages following all procedures
    • Maintain the PBX area in a neat and orderly manner.
    • Be familiar with the resort's emergency procedures to pay a key role in the event of an emergency.
