The Design

Chaminade has a rich history, stretching back to 1904. Our transformation will keep with the integrity of the iconic Spanish Revival architectural style by connecting the interior design to the architectural heritage in a Spanish-modern style. "The Spanish-modern aesthetic comes through with bold, colorful tiles and architectural design elements that embrace the heritage of the property, like Spanish arches and exposed decorative wood beams,” says EDG President + CEO Jennifer Johanson.

A neutral and earthy color palette is paired with bold tile and texture — creating a casual-luxe aesthetic that is both comfortable and classic with attention to pattern and detail.
We have re-imagined our building with a fresh and modern perspective, ensuring that the interiors meld harmoniously with the exterior. Enhancing the overall experience by staying true to the traditional architectural heritage with a fresh and modern perspective. With this comes new Food & Beverage concepts and a logo redesign.
