Farm to Table Wine Dinners

Local Wine and the Finest Food Local Growers Have to Offer

Seven years ago Chaminade Resort & Spa conceptualized an intimate dinner with local wine and the finest that local growers and producers had to offer, in a natural setting overlooking the Monterey Bay.  In May of 2008 the first Farm to Table Wine Dinner was hosted with a humble crowd of 12 guests. Today Chef Kirsten Ponza and her team, will host the 7th Annual Farm to Table Wine Dinner series, with dinners expected to be at maximum capacity.

Join us for Chaminade Resort & Spa’s 7th Annual Farm to Table Wine Dinner Series, beginning in June and continues through October 2014! Enjoy a five course dinner with local, farm fresh ingredients prepared by Executive Chef, Kirsten Ponza and her team. Sip on Central Coast wines as you talk with Chef Kirsten, as well as featured farmers and vintners who will join you for dinner to answer any questions you may have about the carefully sourced and crafted meals.


Dinners take place on the Sunset Terrace or Courtyard Terrace, boasting unsurpassed views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and Monterey Bay. A reception with wine and passed hors d’oeurves begins at 6:00 pm followed by a full dinner and endless wine at 6:30 pm.

Price
$80* (plus tax and gratuity) the dinner price includes: five course dinner, endless local wine, farm goodie bag and ambiance nowhere like it in Santa Cruz.

Menu
Our menus are inspired by the seasonal harvest of the Central Coast. We are only able to announce our menus within one month of the actual dinner. We hope you’ll enjoy the diversity of foods fresh from the farm, prepared in an uncomplicated style.

Each meal consists of a set menu of five courses, with ingredients from local farms and paired with local wines to enhance the flavor of nature’s bounty.
