Guest Services

Automatic Teller Machine We have an automatic teller machine located in our lobby for your convenience. It will accept most major bank card and credit cards. There is a nominal charge of $2.95 for each usage.

Check-in/Check-out
Check-in is at 4:00pm. Check-out is at 12noon. Should you require a late departure or check-out time, please notify the Front Desk to avoid automatic posting of additional charges to your account.

Credit Arrangements
 We honor all major credit cards. Other credit arrangements should be made with management prior to arrival. If you are settling your account with cash, you will be asked to settle charges as they are incurred.

Gift Certificates
 The giving of a gift certificate from Chaminade provides the opportunity to treat your friends and family to the exquisite dining, beautiful surroundings and wonderful ambiance of Santa Cruz. Gift Certificates may be purchased at the Front Desk for fixed amounts for meals in either of our restaurants, Fitness Center services or overnight accommodations.

Mail and Packages
 Stamped letters and cards to be mailed may be dropped off at the Front Desk. For package shipping information please contact the Concierge by dialing 5036.

Safe Deposit Boxes
 For the protection of your personal property, safe deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk. We cannot be responsible for valuables left in guest rooms, public areas or automobiles.

Dry Cleaning Services
 Same day laundry and dry cleaning service is available. Drop your laundry at the Guest Services desk (or dial 63 for pick up) by 8:30am Monday - Friday, and it will be returned by 6:00pm.

Television
 For your viewing pleasure please refer to stations listed on remote control. Tune in to channel 12 for daily meeting schedule or channel 7 for messages.

Telephone
 For your convenience, we have provided two telephones with separate extensions in each guest room. The telephone between the beds is designed for speed dialing, which offers instant access to the Front Office, Guest Services, Dining Room, Concierge, Room Service, and message services. The second telephone, located on your executive desk, is an analog phone allowing both computer modem connection as well as regular telephone use. If you are installing a modem, remember to program a 9 prefix in your auto-dial sequence. All calls are transferred to the Front Office after six rings for message taking.

Gift Shop
Located adjacent to the Front Desk and accessible 24 hours for your convenience.

Pro Shop
Located in the Fitness Center, this gift and sports accessories shop offers a wide variety of clothing items for personal use or as gifts. We offer a selection of sweatshirts, T-shirts, shorts, athletic shoes, socks, hats and jackets as well as sundry items for your convenience.
 

Concierge
Chaminade has a Concierge to assist with your reservations or to offer suggestions for sightseeing opportunities during your stay. If you are here attending a conference, the Concierge will provide secretarial services including typing, photocopying, tele-faxing, overhead transparencies and express mail services. The Concierge Office is open from 7:00am Monday through Friday. Guest Services is available for your requests evenings and weekends. The Concierge is located to the right of the lobby entrance. For assistance with any of the following items, dial 5036 to speak with the Concierge.

Transportation
Chaminade is pleased to assist you with your transportation needs to and from the area airports.

Airport Transportation Rates
Per person, each way (may be charged to the individual's room). Cancellations/changes require 24 hour notice to avoid penalty charges of full value.
  

San Jose International Airport $90 one way each passenger, $100 for requested private sedan 35 minutes
SFO $120 first passenger, $30 each additional 75 minutes
OAK $125 first passenger, $30 each additional 75 minutes
Monterey Municipal Airport $90 each passenger 45 minutes
Watsonville Municipal Airport $49 each passenger 20-30 minutes
  • Reservations must be made 10 working days prior to the day of arrival. Any requests made inside this time frame are subject to availability.
  • Changes and or cancellations that occur within 48-hours prior to scheduled pickup or drop-off are subject to full value penalties.
  • Transportation scheduled inside 48-hours is subject to additional charges (and subject to availability).
  • Upon arrival, guests will be greeted either at the gate or the baggage claim carousel. Your escort will be carrying a sign with your name and/or "Chaminade" displayed.
  • Services rendered are to/from prearranged airport destinations only; additional stops are subject to additional charges.
